The Veterans Academic Resource Center, or VARC, is your one-stop solution to your needs as a student veteran. We provide offices, study space and lounge space, as well as access to a number of university offices, in one central location.

At the Veterans Academic Resource Center, our goals are to: Help you understand and ensure your access to all of the campus resources available to you; Help you succeed by providing study space and special tutoring at your convenience; Help UCF faculty and staff understand your unique needs as a student veteran; Provide you with the tools you need to stay on track and finish your degree.

VARC welcomes Stacie McLeod to UCF!

Stacie McLeod serves as the Program Coordinator for the Veterans Academic Resource Center where she facilitates the planning and implementation of programs which assist veterans in achieving their goals at UCF.

Having worked as an educator at all levels, preschool through university, she is passionate about equipping students with the tools they need to succeed. Stacie comes to us from Pennsylvania where she previously worked in Residence Life at The Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Master of Science in Education degree in Educational Psychology and Community Counseling at Baylor University after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Messiah College. In her spare time, Stacie enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband.
