Certify Early!! Posted Monday, June 29, 2020 @ 2:56 PM We are currently accepting FALL 2020 Certifications starting July 1st, 2020! • We ONLY accept emailed forms. Remember all certification forms must be typed. As of Spring 2020, we now accept electronically signed forms • Please redact any information such as social security numbers on documentation emailed to the VARC, to protect your academic and personal records • We CANNOT accept faxed forms, as the VARC staff is currently operating remotely and do not have access to our departmental fax machine • Certifying early ensures your benefits will continue in a timely manner with less likelihood of a disruption in benefits. • Certifications are processed in the order they are received for reporting tuition and fees. Tuition and fees will be reported to the VA typically after Fall 2020 Semester’s add/drop period (Week of August 31st, 2020) • We CANNOT certify wait-listed classes. You must be actively be enrolled in the class for us to certify that particular course • Chapter 33 (Post 9/11) users: you must be MORE THAN half-time AND have at least ONE face-to-face credit hour to qualify for BAH. Please note: reduced seat time classes do NOT meet this requirement, per the VA. The best way to be sure is to look at the class section number: if it is all numbers or the letter “M” it IS conisidered a face-to-face per the VA • Chapter 31 (Voc rehab) users: we need 3 to 5 business days to prepare your Purchase Order, so please plan accordingly • Email Questions to varc@ucf.edu, please include your First and Last Name, also your UCF ID # from your Knights email account • To start your Fall 2020 Certification process start here Back
