The Veterans Resource Fair, hosted by the Veterans Academic Resource Center (VARC), showcases various UCF Offices and Veterans Service Organizations. This event is held typically during the third week of the Spring Semester. This is an opportunity for our student veterans and the entire university community to engage with the Central Florida Veteran Community based organizations. These organizations provide information on support services for veterans and their family members and how the university community (Veterans and non-Veterans alike) can participate in their organizations.
Every semester, the Veterans Academic Resource Center, in cooperation with the Student Veterans of America – UCF Chapter and SALUTE National Honor’s Society – UCF Chapter, host this ceremony to honor the academic achievements of our graduating student veterans. This ceremony is held typically the Wednesday before each semester’s commencement. Graduating student veterans are presented with a Veterans Graduation Stole and VARC Challenge Coin during this event.
Family & friends are welcomed to attend this event. There is no charge for the event, but to receive the stole & coin, the graduating student veteran must RSVP & attend. For more information about this event please contact Vet2Vet Peer Mentor at VARCPeerMentor@ucf.edu
