As of Friday, December 17, 2021, students using Chapter 33 (Post 9/11) Educational Benefits will be required to verify their enrollment. The VA Educational Office will be sending communications to you in the coming months, be on the lookout for more information.

All programs offered through UCF Continuing Education are not approved as part of the GI Bill Educational Benefits. Graduate Certificate Programs are eligible for GI Educational Benefits. Approved list of Graduate Certificate Program, click here.

On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Student Government (SGA), The Community Veterans History Project (VHP), and the Veterans Academic Resource Center (VARC) hosted Veterans Salute: Honoring and Remembering Our Veterans at the UCF Veterans Memorial. This event included remarks from:
Germaliz Porrata performed the National Anthem and Matt Winstel (Navy Veteran), VARC Office Support Assistant, performed the Pledge of Allegiance. The flag-raising was conducted by UCF Air Force ROTC and Presentation of Colors by UCF Army ROTC. SGA presented the VARC with a copy of the proclamation passed by the SGA Senate, recognizing November 11, 2021, as Veterans Day. At the end of the event, members from the audience were invited to plant the remaining flag for the student veterans flag display on Memory Mall.
