Find the resources you need to complete your finals prep.

Focus on your finals…make sure you are allocating the time to study…do not wait until the last minute or get distracted by the Thanksgiving holiday!

Finish the semester strong and stay focused on the long term goal of a high-quality career.

For our military Knights graduating this semester…congratulations!!!  We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and cannot wait to welcome you to the alumni side!!!  You should have received an email about our STOLE ceremony on December 7th.  If you can make it, please RSVP to Nissa…this is our change to celebrate you and your accomplishments.  Finally, the Military and Veterans Success Center will be open for all commencement ceremonies.  Please feel free to meet your families in the center and join us for cake to celebrate the completion of this phase of your educational journey.

UCF Student Recognized by Secretary of Veteran Affairs

During a recent interview with the Secretary of Veteran Affairs, UCF Alumni and Air Force Veteran Chris Velazquez was mentioned for his service and achievements as a military student.  “Here’s what else hasn’t changed. Like generations before, them, Veterans still make the very best students. I’m thinking of Vets like Chris Velazquez from Camden, New Jersey, who joined the Air Force because of his sense of duty, and to prepare himself for the future. After Active Duty, Chris reached out to Vet services at the University of Central Florida and used his GI Bill benefits to earn his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Today, Chris works on some our country’s most advanced defense systems at Lockheed Martin in Orlando.”

Congratulations Chris, thank you for your service and being a stellar representative of the University of Central Florida!
