Participate in this two-semester program to become a Career Ready Knight! You will learn valuable career competencies that are the most sought after by employers, identify effective job search strategies related to your career development, and connect with employers looking to recruit student veterans.
Students who complete this program will be included in a Resume Book provided to key Employer Partners who support the Office of Military and Veteran Student Success (MVSS). This book will be provided to them at the end of the academic year.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
Step 1) Enroll* in the Knight’s Career Quest webcourse by Career Services (http://bit.ly/KnightsCareerQuest) and complete the career readiness modules
Step 2) Attend* two fall MVSS events: Veteran Career Showcase + one of your choice
Step 3) Attend* two spring MVSS events: Veteran Career Showcase + one of your choice
Step 4) Participate* in a Resume Critique session with MVSS Student Services Team (Peer Mentors or desginee)
Step 5) Submit the program completion FORM with your resume during the last week of spring classes
*After each step, you must submit the Participation Form for attendance verification.
